About Pons

Pons is a non-custodial, permissionless token launchpad on Robinhood Chain, an EVM-compatible Arbitrum-based Layer 2 network. It lets anyone create, list, and trade fixed-supply ERC-20 tokens directly from their own wallets without centralized custody or approval. The platform is operated by Pons Labs LLC. Public documentation does not attribute it to a named individual founder; it appeared in 2026 alongside Robinhood Chain. The Pons protocol and its native PONS token were deployed on Robinhood Chain on 13 July 2026. Pons does not operate a separate consensus mechanism. It relies on Robinhood Chain's underlying Ethereum-compatible consensus, and its core design uses on-chain smart contracts for token creation alongside Uniswap-style liquidity pools. The native token trades under the ticker PONS and is used for interacting with the launchpad and participating in protocol economics like liquidity provision and buybacks. It is not used for formal governance voting or general-purpose staking. PONS has a hard-capped maximum supply of one billion tokens defined at the contract level, with no inflation beyond that cap. Circulating supply is reported in the hundreds of millions. Pons functions primarily as a memecoin and user-issued token factory on Robinhood Chain, allowing open public trading of newly minted tokens from their first block of existence.
