Meta adds paid AI access with new Meta One subscription bundles

Meta One combines Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp subscriptions with expanded access to Muse and other Meta AI features.

Meta has launched Meta One, a new global subscription service bundling paid features across Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp with expanded access to its AI tools.

The launch follows the release of Meta’s new AI assistant Muse and expands subscription testing the company began earlier this year. Meta said its core apps and Meta AI will remain free, while users can continue purchasing individual app subscriptions separately.

Meta One offers two plans for individual users. Core costs $7.99 per month, while Premium costs $19.99 per month.

Both plans include Instagram Plus, WhatsApp Plus and Facebook Plus, along with increased access to Meta AI media generation. Subscribers can generate more images with Muse and use AI features such as Instagram Restyle more frequently.

Meta is also launching separate Meta One plans aimed at creators and businesses, ranging from $14.99 to $499 per month.

The $14.99 Essential plan includes a verified badge, impersonation protection, a verified WhatsApp Business channel and increased access to Meta Business Agent for automated customer responses.

The $49.99 Advanced tier adds features including story scheduling up to 30 days in advance, links in organic posts and Reels, exportable analytics, deeper audience insights and additional team access.

Expert and Max plans cost $149 and $499 per month respectively and offer the highest levels of feature access and Meta Business Agent capacity for larger teams.

Meta said it plans to expand Meta One over time with additional products and services, including Edits and AI glasses.
