Microsoft and KPMG extend global tie-up to power agentic AI for enterprises
KPMG will adopt Microsoft Agent 365 internally to manage AI agents across its global operations.
KPMG and Microsoft have deepened their long-standing alliance to scale enterprise AI, integrating Microsoft Agent 365 with KPMG’s Trusted AI framework to enable secure deployment and management of AI agents across global organizations, according to a Tuesday statement.
The expansion also includes a wider deployment of Microsoft 365 Copilot across KPMG’s workforce of over 276,000 professionals. It reflects the next phase of enterprise AI adoption, where agentic systems, centralized governance, and cross-organizational deployment are becoming foundational to digital transformation at scale.
The partnership will see KPMG use Agent 365 to orchestrate AI agent governance, monitoring, and updates across its global network, while also supporting clients in moving AI systems into production with enterprise-grade controls, compliance, and risk management structures.
KPMG continues to embed Microsoft technologies across its core service delivery platforms, including KPMG Workbench and KPMG Clara, enabling AI-driven audit, tax, and advisory services with improved transparency, risk detection, and operational efficiency. These systems are designed to support a shift from isolated AI pilots to fully integrated enterprise AI operating models.
