MidasRWA launches mWIN and mGLOBAL on Avalanche, bringing institutional credit to DeFi
Wellington Management's fixed income strategy and Fasanara Capital's credit portfolio are now programmable onchain assets on Avalanche's $2B tokenized ecosystem
Midas launched mWIN and mGLOBAL on Avalanche on September 22, 2026, giving DeFi users direct access to two institutional-grade credit strategies.
What mWIN and mGLOBAL actually are
mWIN is a tokenized wrapper around an actively managed multi-sector fixed income portfolio run by Wellington Management, the Boston-based firm that oversees more than $1.3 trillion in assets under management. The token launched on August 5, 2026, and pulled in more than $15 million in the first two days alone.
By the end of August, mWIN had crossed $25 million in total value locked, later climbing to nearly $36 million.
mGLOBAL tracks Fasanara Capital’s Global Diversified Alternative Debt strategy, which manages more than $6 billion. Fasanara specializes in short-duration, asset-backed credit. mGLOBAL had already gone live as collateral on Aave Horizon on June 23, 2026, before the Avalanche expansion.
Both products are issued through Luxembourg securitization vehicles. Luxembourg’s securitization law provides legal clarity on investor rights while remaining compatible with onchain mechanics. Independent valuations and composability features are baked in from the start.

Why Avalanche specifically
Avalanche already hosts more than $2 billion in tokenized assets. Midas structures its tokens to be transferable and programmable onchain, meaning they can plug into lending protocols, yield aggregators, and liquidity pools without requiring custom integration for each venue.
Where Midas sits in the broader tokenization race
Midas was founded in 2024. The platform has issued more than $2 billion in tokenized assets since inception and has distributed more than $43 million in yield to investors across its product suite. Total platform TVL crossed $600 million by the end of August 2026, with mGLOBAL and its related mGLO product collectively contributing more than $100 million of that figure.
The mGLOBAL integration into Aave Horizon is notable: Aave Horizon is Aave’s institutional lending environment, designed to bring compliant borrowers and tokenized collateral together in a permissioned pool. Having Fasanara’s credit strategy recognized as eligible collateral inside that system indicates the institutional DeFi stack is developing rapidly.
On the tokenized Treasury side, firms like BlackRock’s BUIDL and Franklin Templeton’s BENJI have significant first-mover brand advantages. On the actively managed credit side, the field is smaller but the structural complexity is higher, since active strategies require ongoing compliance, valuation, and disclosure infrastructure that passive products do not.
