Neityu discusses joining FaZe Clan and team progress after permanent signing

Ryan “Neityu” Aubry is no longer just visiting. The 21-year-old French rifler has officially transitioned from a temporary stand-in to a permanent member of FaZe Clan’s CS2 roster, ending a four-month audition that began back in April 2026.

The signing, finalized around August 11-12, locks in a roster that FaZe has been assembling through a period of significant turnover. And with the Esports World Cup 2026 on the horizon, the timing suggests the organization is done experimenting.

From stand-in to starter

Neityu first stepped into FaZe’s lineup on April 29 during the BLAST Rivals Fort Worth event, arriving on loan from ENCE. What started as a temporary fix became something more durable over the following months.

Neityu’s career winnings sit in the range of $91,000 to $95,000. At 21, he’s joining a squad that includes Twistzz, frozen, broky, and jcobbb.

Strong basics, limited reps

In an August 17 interview with HLTV, Neityu addressed the team’s competitiveness. He pointed to the team’s strong fundamentals as a foundation, acknowledging that limited practice time, largely a consequence of ongoing roster changes, has kept the squad from reaching its ceiling. The most recent addition, JBOEN, is still integrating into the system.

He credited Twistzz’s leadership as a stabilizing force within the roster. Neityu noted that the team has been improving on a daily basis.

FaZe’s evolving identity in CS2

The current roster — Twistzz, frozen, broky, jcobbb, and Neityu — represents FaZe’s latest iteration, blending veteran presence with younger talent. Neityu’s role as a rifler slots him into the lineup without disrupting the existing structure around broky’s AWP play and Twistzz’s star fragging.
