Getty Images stock rockets almost 150% premarket on OpenAI display deal
The partnership will enable Getty Images' content libraries to appear in ChatGPT's search and discovery features.
Shares of Getty Images (NYSE: GETY) jumped almost 150% in premarket trading on Monday after the visual content company unveiled a partnership with OpenAI that will integrate its licensed image libraries into ChatGPT.

According to a press release issued on June 21, the agreement allows Getty Images content to appear across ChatGPT search and discovery experiences, expanding the use of licensed visual content in AI-generated responses.
Getty Images CEO Craig Peters said high-quality licensed content helps make AI-powered search more useful and trustworthy.
Getty Images is one of the world’s largest visual content marketplaces, operating the Getty Images, iStock and Unsplash brands and working with nearly 600,000 creators around the world. The company also offers AI-generated image tools trained on licensed content and backed by commercial usage protections.
