Anthony Pompliano’s ProCap sells 50 Bitcoin to fund share repurchase at 40% discount
The Bitcoin treasury firm is liquidating small portions of its crypto stack to buy back shares trading well below net asset value, boosting per-share BTC exposure for remaining holders.
ProCap Financial sold about 50 Bitcoin to repurchase more than 2% of its outstanding shares at an approximate 40% discount to net asset value, the firm said in a Thursday statement.
The latest deal brings total repurchases under the company’s buyback program to around 10% of shares outstanding.
ProCap said the repurchases increase the Bitcoin ownership attributable to each remaining shareholder and that it plans to continue buying back shares when they trade at a significant discount to NAV.
Founded by well-known crypto investor Anthony Pompliano, ProCap combines a large Bitcoin treasury with AI-powered financial tools, including Silvia and ProCap Insights. Its platform uses AI agents to provide portfolio analysis, research and investment support to independent investors.
