QuickSwap exceeds $700M in lifetime volume on Base
The Polygon-native DEX keeps quietly building market share on Coinbase's Layer 2 network, with sights now set on $1 billion.
QuickSwap, the decentralized exchange that made its name on Polygon, has crossed $700 million in cumulative trading volume on Base. For a protocol that only deployed on Coinbase’s Layer 2 network after a governance vote in May 2025, that’s a pace worth paying attention to.
The milestone caps a steady climb. Volume on Base hit $500 million by early June 2026, cleared $600 million by late August, and reached roughly $667 million by September 21. QuickSwap is now openly targeting $1 billion as the next goalpost.
How QuickSwap built its Base footprint
QuickSwap’s expansion to Base went through a formal governance proposal that passed on May 13, 2025. By mid-2025, QuickSwap had rolled out its full DragonFi suite on Base, including spot swaps, V3 concentrated liquidity positions, yield farming, staking, and, as of Q4 2025, perpetual trading.
Base as a growth engine
QuickSwap’s lifetime volume on Polygon stretches into the tens of billions. Base is a growing but still secondary theater of operations for the protocol.

The QUICK token: tiny market cap, interesting mechanics
The QUICK token currently trades at approximately $0.01, with a market capitalization in the low millions. For a protocol processing hundreds of millions in volume, that disconnect between protocol activity and token valuation is striking.
QuickSwap has been running weekly buyback-and-burn programs for QUICK, and recent data indicates those buybacks are actually exceeding token emissions. The protocol is removing more tokens from circulation each week than it’s creating. The buyback mechanism works as a revenue channel: trading fees generated by the protocol are partially redirected to purchasing QUICK on the open market, which is then burned.
