Range raises $8.3M to unify stablecoin and fiat operations
The treasury management platform now protects over $30 billion in assets as institutional demand for stablecoin infrastructure accelerates
Range, a treasury management platform bridging the gap between stablecoin and traditional fiat operations, has raised $8.3 million in new funding. The round positions the company at the center of one of crypto’s fastest-growing niches: helping institutions actually manage the digital dollars they’re accumulating.
What Range actually does
Range unifies treasury operations, reconciliation, counterparty intelligence, and real-time risk and compliance tools into a single interface, letting finance teams see all their money in one place, whether that money lives in a bank, a wallet, or a custodian.
Range currently protects over $30B in assets under management and screens more than $20B in monthly payment volume. For a company that raised its $2.7M seed round in March 2024, that kind of traction is notable.
The platform integrates with over 10,000 banks, custodians, and wallets. Its customer list includes Circle, Noble, and the Stellar Development Foundation.
Range provides enterprise-grade tools for transaction screening, fraud prevention, portfolio risk monitoring, and audit-ready reporting, as well as counterparty risk management.
From security startup to treasury backbone
Range didn’t start here. The company originally launched as a security and risk platform focused on blockchain technology before pivoting to treasury management.
The seed round, led by Galileo, Robot Ventures, and Fenbushi Capital, closed on March 14, 2024. This latest $8.3M raise builds on that foundation, bringing total known funding to $11M. Robot Ventures is led by Robert Leshner, the founder of Compound Finance, and Fenbushi Capital is one of Asia’s most prominent blockchain-focused venture firms.
Range’s compliance credentials reinforce the institutional angle. The platform complies with GDPR and has achieved SOC 2 Type II certification.
Why this matters for investors
Look at the customer profile. Fintechs, custodians, asset issuers, protocols, and traditional financial institutions. Range is targeting the exact organizations that sit at the boundary between crypto and traditional finance.
Range’s 10,000-plus integration points and SOC 2 Type II certification are central to its positioning in a competitive landscape where integration depth and compliance rigor are key differentiators.
