Strategy repurchases $139 million in STRC shares, makes no Bitcoin moves
Strategy's focus on repurchasing shares over Bitcoin adjustments may signal a strategic shift towards stabilizing stock value and investor confidence.
Strategy’s Bitcoin holdings remained unchanged at 845,050 BTC as of Sept. 13, with the stash valued at about $65.8 billion at press time, according to a Monday disclosure.
Strategy bought back $139 million in shares of its STRC preferred stock using USD Cash during the period, reducing its cash balance to $1.3 billion, the company reported. No shares of STRF, STRK, STRD or MSTR were repurchased.
The company’s USD Reserve remains at $5.1 billion and is intended to support preferred-stock dividends and interest on outstanding debt.
Strategy said $1.05 billion in aggregate purchase price remains available under its digital credit securities repurchase program for preferred stock, while $1 billion remains available under its MSTR Stock repurchase program.
