Tesla plans Cybercab display and driver-assistance demos at Paris show
Bloomberg’s October 6 report said visitors could test-drive six other Tesla vehicles, but would not ride in the Cybercab.
Tesla planned to display its Cybercab robotaxi at the Paris Motor Show, which opened October 12, Bloomberg reported on October 6, citing the event’s organizer.
Show director Serge Gachot said visitors would be able to test-drive six other Tesla vehicles equipped with the driver-assistance software the company markets as Full Self-Driving. Attendees would not be able to ride in the Cybercab.
The vehicle, which lacks a steering wheel and foot pedals, was scheduled for its first European showing. CEO Elon Musk has presented it as a central part of Tesla’s planned robotaxi business.
Stellantis planned to show more than 60 vehicles from eight brands, while Renault was expected to display about 50 vehicles and concepts, including an updated electric Dacia Spring to be assembled in Europe.

BYD, Xpeng and Volkswagen were also listed as participants. BMW had said it would withdraw from the event as CEO Milan Nedeljkovic cut costs following a major profit warning.
