Trajectory raises $40M at $300M valuation in Sequoia-led round

The AI lab previously raised $15 million in seed funding to develop its continual learning platform.

Trajectory has secured $40 million in a new funding round led by Sequoia Capital, valuing the company at $300 million, The Information reported Tuesday.

Led by CEO Ronak Malde, the San Francisco-based research and product lab is building a continual learning platform to help AI-native companies move beyond static models toward systems that become more capable with every user interaction.

The move comes after Trajectory raised $15 million in a seed funding round led by Conviction in June. Its backers include Bessemer Venture Partners, Radical VC and BoxGroup, alongside angel investors Jeff Dean and Fei-Fei Li and founders from Notion, Dropbox, Braintrust and Hugging Face.
