Dunamu and Visa are also considering a business model based on Open Standard’s dollar stablecoin OUSD, as well as new services combining AI with stablecoin payment and settlement rails.

The partners will examine the technology and infrastructure needed for AI-driven payments, particularly “Agentic Commerce,” where AI agents can search for goods or services and handle purchases and payments for users.

Visa is deepening its push into stablecoin-powered payments in South Korea. Earlier this week, the company announced a partnership with Shinhan Financial Group to explore stablecoin settlement and AI-driven payments under a new strategic MOU.

The agreement covers digital assets, AI-based payment services and B2B businesses, building on talks between the companies earlier this year about future financial services.
