Under the agreement, the regulator and tokenization platform will explore opportunities to support tokenization projects across Dubai’s virtual asset ecosystem. Their work will include regulatory engagement, knowledge sharing, ecosystem development, talent development, market education and data-driven research.

The partnership will also examine the evolution of tokenized financial products operating within Dubai’s regulatory framework. Securitize said the collaboration will give licensed market participants access to its global expertise while supporting market integrity and investor protection.

The agreement comes as financial institutions increasingly explore tokenization to modernize capital markets. VARA and Securitize said jurisdictions combining regulatory certainty with institutional-grade infrastructure will be well positioned to support the adoption of tokenized financial markets.
