AlphaToken’s XAUa, a Hong Kong-regulated tokenized gold product, is now live on Sui, the network said on Wednesday. The token is minted using Sui’s Permissioned Asset Standard and distributed onchain by TBook.
Permissioned standard targets regulated holders
AlphaToken issues the token, while TBook runs its onchain gold vault and distribution. The Permissioned Asset Standard lets issuers restrict who can hold and transfer an asset, a feature aimed at regulated products. TBook said in its launch thread that investors should be paying more attention to gold.
