ArbitrumDAO income surpasses $6 million in first half

Arbitrum maintained a leading position in tokenized real-world assets, ranking first by deployments with more than 2,000 assets.

ArbitrumDAO generated more than $6 million of income in the first half of 2026, while gross margins across protocol revenue streams climbed above 97%, the Arbitrum Foundation said in its biannual progress update.

The DAO’s income came from Arbitrum One transaction fees, Timeboost, AEP license fees and treasury income. The Arbitrum Expansion Program became a material revenue source after Robinhood Chain launched on the mainnet in July, with AEP fees reaching $360,000 in July and accounting for 35% of DAO income.

Network activity remained strong, as noted by the Foundation. Arbitrum processed 478 million transactions during the period, bringing its lifetime total to 2.7 billion. Ecosystem GDP reached $206 million, while cumulative GDP since launch rose to $1.7 billion. Monthly stablecoin transfer volume averaged more than $70 billion and stablecoin holders increased 40% to 10.5 million.

The network ranked first in tokenized RWA deployments, with more than 2,000 assets deployed. It also had 1,142 live projects and saw derivatives open interest rise 434% over six months, peaking at $1.5 billion.

Enterprise adoption continued to build around Arbitrum’s chain strategy. Robinhood Chain processed more than 200 million testnet transactions before its mainnet launch, while Robinhood deployed more than 2,000 stock tokens on Arbitrum One.

In addition, LG Electronics launched an onchain advertising pilot, Mastercard expanded stablecoin settlement support and PYUSD reached a $475 million peak on Arbitrum.

Arbitrum also pushed forward with protocol upgrades and governance. ArbOS 61 added larger Stylus contracts, native priority fees, AltDA APIs and optional compliance infrastructure for enterprise chains. The Foundation is developing further compliance tools, confidential enterprise chains and ZK settlement.
