Choice launches sLINJ, a leveraged INJ staking token targeting about 12% APY

The new token from Choice, issued by MidasRWA on Injective EVM, packages looped INJ staking into a single wrapper

Staking on Injective just got a shortcut, and it comes with leverage attached.

On October 30, 2026, Choice launched sLINJ, short for Staked Looped INJ. The token gives holders leveraged exposure to INJ staking, with a target annual percentage yield of approximately 12%, paid out in INJ.

What sLINJ actually does

sLINJ takes the idea of staking and adds a leveraged, looped layer on top, then wraps the whole thing into a single token. Holders get the exposure without managing multiple staking positions on their own.

The token is issued by MidasRWA and is available through the Choice platform on Injective EVM. That EVM label means the product lives on Injective’s environment built for Ethereum-style smart contracts.

Users can subscribe with native INJ, which is automatically wrapped, or with WINJ or yINJ.

Fees, redemptions and the 12% target

The headline number is the target APY of approximately 12%. The key word is target. It is an objective, not a promise, and the actual yield could land elsewhere.

The product also carries two fees. There is a 1% annual management fee, plus a 15% performance fee charged on the yield earned.

The research behind the launch describes this structure as in line with typical industry standards for products of this kind.

Redemptions follow a two-speed model. Exiting can take roughly three days, or it can happen instantly, depending on how much liquidity sits in the vault at the time.

Why Injective’s staking scene keeps getting layered

sLINJ is not Injective’s first experiment with staking wrappers. It follows earlier efforts involving liquid staking tokens on the network. The fact that yINJ is one of the accepted deposit assets shows how these products are starting to stack on top of each other.

Injective has framed the product as part of a broader push to expand yield options on its chain, rather than a one-off listing. The launch itself drew little market commentary or visible price reaction, which suggests it is aimed at a specific DeFi audience rather than a mass-market splash.

What this means for INJ holders and Injective DeFi

For INJ holders, sLINJ offers a way to chase higher staking returns without building a looped position by hand.

The redemption design is the other thing to watch. A three-day standard exit, with instant withdrawals only when vault liquidity allows, means holders should not treat sLINJ like cash.

The involvement of MidasRWA as issuer shows that third-party issuers are building structured products on Injective EVM, rather than everything coming directly from the core network.
