Missing figures stay unavailable. Forward P/E requires a dated source. Annual revenue, revenue growth, net income and margin come from each company's own 10-K, in US dollars, and each row shows that fiscal year. Revenue growth compares the fiscal year with the prior year stated in the same 10-K. Net income is the full year amount attributable to the company, or available to common stockholders where the filing states only that, or consolidated net income. Each row names its basis. Trailing P/E reads "Not meaningful" when the dated trailing diluted EPS is a loss or zero. An operating margin appears only when the filing states both the operating income and the revenue for the same year.
Sources: SEC filings, Gloria daily closes and CoinGecko. Oldest record refresh: Oct 27, 2026, 10:26 PM EDT. Refresh is not a price or filing date. Each row shows its price date and its annual fiscal period. Peers use industry code and company size, or editorial selection. Market cap multiplies that row price by the company share total the latest SEC filing states for every share class together. Trailing P/E divides it by trailing diluted earnings from SEC filings. Rolled earnings per share are approximate because share counts can change between periods. Both appear only when the SEC data carries its date, so they are estimates at one price date, not synchronized filing valuations. Not investment advice.

The US Department of Justice is taking a close look at Nvidia’s acquisition of Hugging Face, the AI platform that hosts a massive share of the world’s open-source models. The deal is valued at $12.93 billion.
What the DOJ is looking at
The DOJ’s inquiry was confirmed as of October 28, 2026. Its focus is how the acquisition could affect competition across the artificial intelligence sector.
This is not a standalone probe. The review sits inside a broader examination of Nvidia’s business practices.
That wider inquiry already covered Nvidia’s licensing agreement with AI chip startup Groq, which drew scrutiny as of September 2026. So the Hugging Face deal lands on a desk that already has an Nvidia folder open.
The structure of the deal breaks down into a few pieces. Nvidia agreed to pay $11.9 billion to Hugging Face stockholders, plus up to $1 billion set aside for employee equity retention.
The acquisition was announced on September 3, 2026. As of October 28, 2026, no formal challenge or second request from regulators had been publicly detailed.
That distinction matters. An inquiry means regulators are asking questions, while a formal challenge would mean they are trying to stop or reshape the deal. Right now, this is the former.
Nvidia expects the transaction to close in the first half of 2027, pending the necessary regulatory approvals.

Why Hugging Face is such a big prize
If you have never visited Hugging Face, think of it as the GitHub of AI models. It is where researchers, startups and big companies upload, download and remix the building blocks of machine learning.
The scale is considerable. Founded in 2016, the platform hosts 3 million open-source AI models and 500,000 datasets.
It counts more than 18 million developers and 200,000 companies among its users.
For Nvidia, buying Hugging Face is a push beyond silicon. The company would gain more influence over the software and distribution layers of the AI stack, not just the chips that power it.
Nvidia has positioned the move as a counterweight to closed systems used by rivals such as OpenAI. The pitch is that open models win when they have a well-funded, well-maintained home.
Nvidia has said it intends to keep Hugging Face open and multi-cloud. In practical terms, that means developers should not be forced onto Nvidia-specific infrastructure just to keep using the platform.
Nvidia executives argue that expanding Hugging Face will widen access to open-weight AI models and speed up their development. The company frames the deal as pro-competitive.
What this means for Nvidia and the AI market
The Groq connection adds weight to the review. When the DOJ is already examining one Nvidia arrangement, a second, much larger transaction invites regulators to look at the company’s strategy as a pattern rather than a series of one-offs.
What to watch next: whether the DOJ issues a second request, whether Nvidia formalizes its openness pledges into binding commitments, and whether the Groq review and the Hugging Face review start to converge into a single, larger case about Nvidia’s reach across the AI ecosystem.
