Magisk confirmed as new in-game leader for BC Game’s CS2 team
The four-time Major champion brings veteran leadership to a roster already featuring s1mple and electroNic
Emil “Magisk” Reif, the Danish Counter-Strike veteran with four Major championships to his name, has officially taken over as in-game leader for BC.Game Esports’ CS2 roster. The move, confirmed on June 30, caps weeks of speculation that started with the organization’s own CEO teasing it on social media.
For a team that already boasts s1mple on its lineup, adding a proven IGL with roughly $2.06 million in career earnings is the kind of move that suggests BC.Game isn’t just collecting talent for the sake of headlines.
A roster built for headlines, and maybe trophies
The current lineup includes s1mple, who joined in July 2025. ElectroNic came aboard in October 2025. Senzu was added in April 2026. And overseeing it all from the coaching seat is TaZ, the Polish legend who took on that role in January 2026.
Magisk’s resume makes the appointment logical. His time with Astralis during their era of dominance, a stretch where the Danish organization won four Majors, gave him deep experience in structured, disciplined Counter-Strike. Team Falcons was a more recent stop on his career path.
The speculation around his arrival wasn’t exactly subtle. BC.Game Esports CEO Ali Muhanned discussed the potential signing publicly during June 2026, including on a livestream. When your CEO is effectively confirming roster moves before the official announcement, the rumor mill doesn’t have to work very hard.
What BC.Game is actually building
BC.Game Esports is an Emirati organization tied directly to the BC.Game crypto gaming and betting platform, established in 2024. Magisk’s contract details haven’t been publicly disclosed.
