Hyperlane (HYPER)USD

Hyperlane is a permissionless interoperability protocol for cross-chain messaging and asset transfers across Layer 1 blockchains, rollups, and app-chains. Jon Kol, Asa Oines, and Nam Chu Hoai founded the project, and the mainnet launched in 2022. The native HYPER token launched in April 2025, with the token generation event and initial circulation occurring around April 22, 2025, alongside a community airdrop. The protocol uses modular interchain messaging secured by a permissionless set of validators and stakers. Staking and slashing mechanisms enforce message verification integrity. HYPER is used for staking to secure cross-chain message verification, rewarding validators and relayers, funding expansion rewards tied to protocol usage, and participating in community governance. The token has a hard cap of one billion HYPER, with a genesis supply of approximately 802,666,667 tokens. Emissions are distributed over roughly 25 to 26 years. Hyperlane supports cross-chain communication and asset transfers across more than 150 blockchain networks, allowing developers to build applications that operate across multiple chains.
