About Keeta
Keeta is a Layer-1 blockchain built for payments and the movement of tokenized assets across decentralized blockchain networks and traditional fiat payment rails. The project's goal is to reduce intermediaries, lower fees, and shorten settlement times by connecting legacy financial infrastructure with decentralized systems. The KTA token launched as an ERC-20 on the Base network in March 2025, with the Keeta Layer-1 mainnet following later in 2025. The chain is optimized for high-throughput, near-instant settlement of financial transactions, though its specific consensus mechanism has not been clearly detailed in major public sources. The native token, KTA, is used for transaction fees, staking, and governance of network upgrades and ecosystem decisions. KTA has a fixed maximum supply of 1,000,000,000 tokens, with circulating supply in the mid-hundreds of millions as of 2026. Keeta is designed as infrastructure for cross-rail financial transactions spanning both blockchain and traditional payment systems.
