Meta launches Muse Wonder in push toward frontier personal AI agents
Muse Wonder is available through Meta’s API and coding platform, with a rollout to the Muse personal assistant planned for subscribers first.
Meta introduced Muse Wonder and Muse Wonder Full on Monday, expanding its AI model lineup with systems designed to handle complex personal and professional tasks.
Muse Wonder is available through the Meta Model API and Muse Code. Muse Wonder Full is available to Muse Code subscribers. Meta said Muse Wonder will also power its Muse personal assistant soon, with subscribers receiving access first.
The company described the models as its most capable yet, highlighting improvements in memory, sustained task execution and coding. Both were trained at its Prometheus data center as part of an AI overhaul that began 14 months ago.
A central feature is Active Memory, which carries relevant context across conversations and retrieves earlier information when needed. Meta said this helps agents remember users’ preferences and apply them to new tasks.
Active Focus is designed to keep agents working toward difficult goals. The models can try alternative approaches, respond to new information and work through obstacles, while asking for clarification and checking with users before important actions.
Meta said the capabilities support software development that requires repeated testing and revision, alongside tasks involving legal documents, financial information and health questions.

Its demonstrations included building a playable game and creating a personalized running plan through a browser.
The company reported leading results across several evaluations of agent performance, memory and coding. Those claims come from Meta’s published evaluations.
The release builds on Muse Spark, the first model in the company’s new AI series, introduced in April. Meta initially positioned Spark as a smaller, faster model for reasoning and multimodal tasks, powering Meta AI across its app and website before expanding to other products.
Meta subsequently introduced Muse Spark 1.1 in July alongside a public preview of its Model API, followed by Muse Spark 1.3 in September. The updates expanded the model family ahead of the Wonder release.
The company also launched Muse as a personal AI agent in September. Powered by Muse Spark at launch, the assistant runs in a dedicated virtual machine with its own browser and can work across connected apps to handle tasks such as travel bookings and email. Users control its access and approve sensitive actions.
Muse Wonder will bring the new models’ capabilities to that assistant and power artifact generation and other processes requiring greater intelligence. Meta also plans to use Wonder to develop specialized models for broader availability through Muse.
Meta said the Wonder series includes stronger protections for private information and resistance to malicious instructions. A fuller report with additional safety evaluations will be released later.
