NRG benches Alexander ‘br0’ Bro from CS2 roster
The Danish rifler finds himself on the outside looking in after joining the organization just over a year ago
NRG Esports has benched Alexander “br0” Bro from its active Counter-Strike 2 roster. The move was confirmed by esports outlet dust2.us. It comes just over a year after br0 joined NRG in January 2025, replacing former teammate Brehze on the roster.
Born on May 4, 2002, the Danish player built his reputation as a skilled rifler during his time with Astralis. That stint ended in September 2024 when Astralis benched him amid what was described as an emergency substitution scenario.
NRG brought br0 aboard in January 2025, slotting him into a lineup that included nitr0, oSee, Sonic, and Grim. The Los Angeles-based organization was acquired by DarkZero Esports in December 2025.
