Ondo Finance’s tokenized stocks hit a record $1.26 billion in TVL
Ondo Stocks cleared the $1 billion mark in under a year, and its executives are already talking about $5 billion
Ondo Finance’s tokenized stock platform just set a new high. Total value locked on Ondo Stocks reached a record $1.26 billion.
How Ondo Stocks got to $1.26 billion
Ondo Stocks launched in September 2025. It first pushed past the billion-dollar line on or around August 15, 2026, posting a TVL of $1.01 billion.
It didn’t stop there. The platform later climbed to its record $1.26 billion, a gain of roughly a quarter billion dollars on top of that first milestone.
What goes into that pile here is tokenized exposure to US stocks and ETFs. Ondo offers total-return exposure, so holders track both price moves and the returns that come with owning the underlying asset.
The product is aimed at retail and institutional users outside the US. Americans are not the target customer, at least for now.
The tokens also live on several networks. As of August 2026, Ondo Stocks supported a range of assets across Solana, Ethereum, and BNB Chain.
Ondo Global Markets, the business behind Ondo Stocks, ranks among the largest tokenized equity platforms by TVL.

Tokenized stocks are doing more than sitting still
Ondo’s tokens have found their way into leveraged trading. They are also being posted as collateral in lending markets, where users can borrow against them.
Cumulative trading volume for the tokenized equities has exceeded several billion dollars, well above the platform’s current TVL.
The regulatory backdrop shifted
In September 2026, the SEC issued a five-year innovation exemption covering on-chain trading of certain tokenized national market system stocks. NMS stocks are, broadly, the shares listed on major US exchanges.
The exemption is set to open the door to round-the-clock, 24/7 on-chain trading of select tokenized NMS stocks.
What this means for Ondo and tokenized equities
A tokenized equity platform crossing $1 billion in under a year suggests demand is real rather than theoretical.
Ondo executives project TVL could reach $5 billion by the end of 2026. They point to improving regulatory clarity and growing interest from users who want direct, low-friction access to global stock markets.
For now, Ondo has a clean scoreboard to point at: launch in September 2025, $1.01 billion in mid-August 2026, and a record $1.26 billion after that.
