OpenAI expands Dublin headquarters with 250 new jobs
Ireland has become a leading European technology hub, serving as the regional headquarters for companies including Meta, Apple and Alphabet.
OpenAI will create 250 new jobs in Ireland as it expands its European headquarters in Dublin, leasing 88,000 square feet of office space in the Tropical Fruit Warehouse to accommodate rising demand from users, developers and enterprise customers across the region.
The company, which currently employs around 100 people in Ireland, said it would hire across engineering, legal, privacy, finance, human resources and user operations.
The investment reinforces Dublin’s position as a major European base for global AI and technology companies. The Irish capital hosts the regional headquarters of companies including Meta, Apple and Alphabet, while AI startup Anthropic is also expanding locally.
