Parma Calcio has secured one of European football’s more quietly exciting young talents. Ousmane Diallo, 19, has completed a permanent move from Borussia Dortmund to the Italian club, signing a contract that runs through June 2031.

The deal, finalized on July 28, 2026, cost Parma a reported €1.5 million.

Who is Ousmane Diallo?

Diallo was born on June 12, 2007, in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain. He came up through the youth ranks at Las Palmas and Alavés before Borussia Dortmund came calling in 2023.

He never broke into the Dortmund senior squad, making his mark instead with Dortmund’s second team in the Regionalliga West. The UEFA European Under-19 Championship in 2026 was his real audition, and he delivered. His performances for Spain drew attention from multiple clubs, with Parma ultimately moving fastest to close the deal.

A winger by trade, Diallo offers direct, vertical play. Parma head coach Carlos Cuesta views him as a long-term attacking option, not a stopgap.
