Corporate Bitcoin holdings top 1.2 million coins, over 6% of supply
Corporate treasuries are quietly absorbing Bitcoin at a pace that's starting to reshape the asset's supply dynamics, with Strategy alone sitting on 847,363 BTC.
Public companies now hold nearly 1.3 million Bitcoin, equivalent to more than 6% of the digital asset’s total supply, with 209 firms holding the asset on their balance sheets.
Strategy remains the largest corporate holder, owning more than 847,363 Bitcoin, or over 4% of total supply, with its holdings valued at about $53 billion. Twenty One Capital ranks second with 43,514 Bitcoin, followed closely by Metaplanet with 43,000.
Elon Musk’s SpaceX holds 18,712 Bitcoin, making it the eighth-largest corporate holder, while his electric-vehicle maker Tesla owns another 11,509 Bitcoin.
Meanwhile, exchange-traded funds and crypto exchanges collectively hold about 1.6 million Bitcoin, equivalent to 7.7% of the total supply. BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust alone accounts for around 3.9% of Bitcoin in circulation.
