Reco raises $55M to enhance AI agent security solutions

The SaaS security startup has now raised $140M in total as enterprises scramble to govern autonomous AI agents running inside their software stacks.

Every time a company deploys a new AI agent inside its software stack, it opens a door. Reco’s entire business is built on making sure that door has a lock.

The cybersecurity startup announced a $55M funding round, bringing its total capital raised to $140M. The raise follows a $30M round completed in February, signaling that investors are accelerating their bets on the company rather than waiting to see how its growth story plays out.

What Reco actually does

Founded in 2020 by CEO Ofer Klein, Gal Nakash, and Tal Shapira, Reco focuses on securing software-as-a-service environments, with a specific lens on the risks introduced by AI applications and autonomous agents.

Reco’s platform addresses this through discovery, risk prioritization, and remediation across SaaS applications. Its proprietary Reco Graph technology maps relationships between users, applications, and AI agents, giving security teams a clearer picture of their actual exposure at any given moment.

The platform supports more than 230 app integrations and can be deployed in under 48 hours. Its footprint spans integrations with tools like Microsoft Copilot and Salesforce Agentforce. In September, Reco announced a partnership with ServiceNow to extend coverage to Otto, ServiceNow’s own AI agent product.

The funding timeline tells its own story

Reco raised a $30M Series A in 2022, then completed a $25M extension in April 2025, which at that point brought cumulative funding to $55M. The February 2026 Series B added another $30M. The latest $55M round now pushes the total to $140M.

Reco reported 5x annual recurring revenue growth in one year, with additional significant growth continuing into 2025.

Why this matters beyond the funding announcement

The launch of Reco Agent Security in 2026 formalized AI agent security as a distinct product surface rather than a feature bolted onto existing SaaS security offerings.

The ServiceNow partnership is worth watching for competitive reasons as well. ServiceNow is one of the more aggressive enterprise vendors in the AI agent space, and Otto represents a significant deployment surface. A security partnership there gives Reco embedded distribution into a platform that is already deep inside large enterprise IT environments.
