Fabric Ventures and Wintermute launch London accelerator offering $300K to Solana founders
The 12-week Rsidency × Construct program will back eight teams building across crypto, AI, robotics, and fintech on Solana.
London just became a more interesting city for Solana builders. Fabric Ventures and Wintermute have teamed up to launch Rsidency × Construct, a 12-week accelerator that will hand $300,000 to each of eight selected teams working on crypto, AI, robotics, and other tech verticals on the Solana network.
The program merges two existing initiatives: Fabric’s Rsidency program, which has been running cohorts since roughly 2013 with a focus on the “Machine Economy,” and Wintermute’s Construct program, which leans on operator-led mentorship for early-stage builders.
What the program actually offers
Each of the eight teams will receive $300,000 in funding alongside mentorship and ecosystem support from Solana and the program partners. That’s $2.4 million in total capital deployed across a single cohort.
The focus areas, crypto, AI, robotics, and fintech, are not random. Solana’s architecture, built around high throughput and low latency, makes it a natural fit for applications that need to process large volumes of data or transactions quickly.
Previous iterations of the Rsidency program have been brutally selective. Past cohorts saw more than 800 applicants competing for just eight spots. That’s an acceptance rate of roughly 1%.
Why Solana, and why now
The first Construct cohort already completed its demo day in late 2025, meaning there’s a track record, however brief, for Wintermute’s accelerator model. Combining that operational experience with Rsidency’s decade-plus of cohort management creates a program with more institutional muscle than the average crypto accelerator.
