The cybersecurity firm is plugging Claude activity into its monitoring and policy tools as enterprises wrestle with shadow AI

SentinelOne is bringing Anthropic’s Claude under its security umbrella, extending its AI protection to one more place where employees are increasingly doing their work.

What the integration actually does

The connection runs through Anthropic’s Claude Compliance API. That is the plumbing that lets outside security and compliance vendors see and govern how Claude gets used inside an organization.

SentinelOne announced the integration with Anthropic’s Claude platform on May 21, 2026. It arrived as part of a broader Anthropic push that brought in partnerships with more than 100 security and compliance providers.

The first major piece is SentinelOne’s Prompt Security. It scans AI prompts in real time and checks them against a company’s policies before anything problematic slips through.

The notable detail is that it works without installing extra agents. In security terms, an agent is a small piece of software that sits on each device and reports back. Skipping that step means the tool can cover both managed devices that IT controls and unmanaged ones that it does not.

Feeding Claude activity into the security operations center

The second piece involves SentinelOne’s Singularity AI SIEM. SIEM stands for security information and event management, which is essentially the central logbook a security team uses to spot trouble across an entire organization.

Under the integration, the SIEM can ingest Claude activity data. That gives security teams real-time auditing and activity monitoring of how the AI is being used.

More importantly, analysts can correlate that AI activity with the telemetry they already collect.

The shadow AI problem

The integration is aimed squarely at what the industry calls shadow AI. The term describes employees using AI tools in ways their employer has not sanctioned or cannot see.

The risks fall into a few familiar buckets. Data leakage is the obvious one: a staffer pastes sensitive customer records or internal code into a chatbot to save twenty minutes, and that information is now somewhere it should not be.

Prompt injection is the sneakier threat. It involves crafting inputs that trick an AI model into ignoring its instructions or doing something its operators never intended.

SentinelOne’s pitch is a centralized approach. Policy enforcement and risk assessment for AI interactions get folded into the same workflows security teams already run, rather than being treated as a special case.

Project Glasswing and the Mythos models

The relationship goes beyond compliance monitoring. SentinelOne is also participating in Anthropic’s Project Glasswing, which grants early access to advanced Mythos-class models.

On October 29, 2026, SentinelOne announced it would add Claude Mythos 5.1 to its Wayfinder Frontier AI Services. The company framed the move as a response to escalating AI-fueled threats.
