SpaceXAI plans to unveil multiple Grok pricing tiers soon
The company behind Grok is expected to announce a fresh set of subscription levels, adding structure to an already crowded menu
SpaceXAI, the company that runs the Grok AI product line, plans to soon announce four Grok pricing tiers.
No launch date has been confirmed, and the company has not said publicly which four tiers will make the cut.
What Grok costs right now
According to the company’s pricing page at x.ai/pricing, Grok starts with a free tier. From there, paid subscriptions scale up in steps.
SuperGrok costs $30 per month. It comes with higher rate limits and access to more models, including Grok 4.6.
SuperGrok Plus runs $100 per month. That tier adds more usage, priority access and 1080p video.
SuperGrok Lite is reportedly priced at $10 per month, aimed at entry-level users who want something beyond the free option.
At the top, SuperGrok Heavy may reach up to $300 per month. If that figure holds, the gap between the cheapest and priciest consumer subscriptions would be a 30x spread.

Business and Enterprise tiers round out the lineup. Those two have been referenced in reports, though not every tier has a publicly displayed price.
As of late September 2026, the official pricing table listed seven options: Free, SuperGrok Lite, SuperGrok, SuperGrok Plus, SuperGrok Heavy, Business and Enterprise.
Grok 4.7 and the API side of the house
The pricing news follows the release of the Grok 4.7 model, which launched between September 21 and 23, 2026.
For developers, Grok 4.7 carries API pricing of $2 per million input tokens and $6 per million output tokens.
API usage is metered separately and is not bundled into the consumer subscription tiers.
There is also a third door into Grok. The X platform offers X Premium+ at $40 per month, and that plan includes Grok access.
What this means for users and the AI market
Watch the Lite and Heavy tiers closely. Lite’s reported $10 price and Heavy’s possible $300 ceiling are the least confirmed numbers in the lineup.
At $2 and $6 per million tokens for Grok 4.7, API consumption is metered independently from consumer plans.
The next thing to watch is the announcement itself: which four tiers survive, what each one includes, and whether any of the currently unlisted prices for Business and Enterprise finally go public.
