Strategy buys 334 Bitcoin as holdings hit 848,000 BTC
The purchase was funded with net proceeds from MSTR stock sales and the company's USD Cash.
Leading digital asset treasury Strategy acquired 334 Bitcoin for approximately $29 million in the four days through Oct. 4, lifting its holdings to 848,000 BTC worth $73 billion, the company disclosed Monday.
The firm used nearly $16 million in net proceeds from MSTR stock sales and $13 million of USD Cash to fund the latest Bitcoin purchases, which followed a 1,665 BTC accumulation by the end of last month.
Separately, Strategy repurchased 740,634 STRC shares for nearly $74 million during the period. That followed a 1.03 million-share STRC repurchase for about $103 million from Sept. 28 through Sept. 30.
The company also spent more than $142 million from its USD Reserve on preferred-stock dividends and interest, leaving almost $4.9 billion in the reserve and $833 million in USD Cash as of Oct. 4.

Strategy reported no sales of its STRF, STRC, STRK or STRD preferred shares during the period.
The Bitcoin proxy estimated a $20.9 billion digital-asset gain for the third quarter, alongside nearly $1.9 billion in deferred tax expense.
