Tokenized assets pull in more than $1 billion in fresh capital in 30 days

Gold, credit, and Treasury funds led a month of net inflows as tokenization keeps moving deeper into traditional finance

More than $1 billion in net new capital flowed into tokenized assets over the past 30 days. Most of it went to gold, credit, and US Treasury funds.

Where the money went

Tracking data across major issuers and platforms puts net real-world asset (RWA) inflows at approximately $1.25 billion as of early October. Big names drove a large share of that total, including Tether, BlackRock, and WisdomTree.

A separate measure, counting flows across leading blockchains, shows approximately $541 million in net RWA inflows over a 30-day window. That figure excludes stablecoins. Counting by issuer and counting by chain capture different slices of the market, so the two numbers do not line up neatly.

The players and the chains

Tether led recent inflows, mostly through XAUT, its gold-backed token. That product alone contributed hundreds of millions of dollars.

WisdomTree is also scaling up. Its tokenized assets under management approached $1.3 billion, marking a 65% increase year-to-date.

On the infrastructure side, BNB Chain recorded net RWA inflows of over $460 million in a recent 30-day window. Solana and Stellar were active in earlier waves of inflows.

How big the market has become

The total distributed value of tokenized assets now sits at around $39 billion, excluding stablecoins.

Treasury products remain the anchor of the sector. They often account for more than $15 billion of that on-chain value on their own.

Tokenized gold and other commodities add over $5 billion in distributed value.

Retail shows up, just not in the same places

Tokenized equities grew 21.5% to approximately 4.38 million holders within a single 30-day period. Much of that growth is tied to retail-friendly platforms such as Robinhood and Binance.

Large sums are pouring into yield-focused products like Treasury and credit funds. Meanwhile, the headcount is climbing fastest in tokenized stocks, where everyday users are signing up in big numbers.

What this means

There are risks worth watching. Concentration is one. With Tether’s XAUT driving a large portion of recent inflows, the headline numbers depend heavily on a single issuer and a single asset.

Measurement is another. The gap between approximately $1.25 billion in issuer-level inflows and approximately $541 million across leading chains shows that how you count changes the answer.

BNB Chain’s inflows of over $460 million in a recent window show it is a serious contender for RWA activity, while Solana and Stellar have drawn capital in earlier periods.
