CoinGecko data as of Oct 29, 3:57 PM EDT.
TRON added $279.5 million in stablecoin market capitalization over a 24-hour period, more than any other blockchain over the same stretch.
That figure, recorded as of October 29, 2026, puts TRON back at the front of the daily stablecoin growth table.
The numbers behind the move
TRON hosted approximately $94.2 billion in stablecoins as of late October 2026. Nearly all of it is one asset.
Tether’s USDT accounts for $92.197 billion of that total, a 97.87% share of TRON’s stablecoin supply.
USDT on TRON also set an all-time high above $92.7 billion during this period. That came while global USDT supply held relatively steady at approximately $184 billion.
The 24-hour gain was not a one-off. In mid-October 2026, TRON added around $554.9 million in stablecoin market cap over a single week.
The total did move around within the month. By mid-October, TRON’s stablecoin cap sat at approximately $95.3 billion, compared with the approximately $94.2 billion figure later in October.

A quarter of heavy lifting
In the third quarter of 2026, TRON settled $2.21 trillion in stablecoins.
That works out to an average of around $24.05 billion per day. It also represented 73% of global stablecoin transfer volume for the quarter.
TRON’s share of total stablecoin market cap also climbed during the quarter. It rose to 30.2% by the end of Q3 2026, up from 28.7% in June 2026.
Why stablecoins keep landing on TRON
TRON’s appeal for stablecoin users has centered on low costs and fast settlement. For payments and remittances, those two features matter more than almost anything else.
The network has also picked up a new institutional on-ramp. The first US spot staked TRX ETF has broadened access to TRON for traditional investors, giving the ecosystem exposure beyond the crypto-native crowd.
What this means
For Tether, TRON’s growth reinforces an already deep dependency. With $92.197 billion of USDT living on one network out of a global supply of approximately $184 billion, a large portion of Tether’s footprint rides on TRON’s continued reliability.
Key things to watch include whether TRON’s share of total stablecoin market cap keeps climbing past 30.2%. Another is whether the network’s weekly additions, like the $554.9 million logged in mid-October, become a steady pattern or stay episodic.
The gap between the mid-October total of approximately $95.3 billion and the later approximately $94.2 billion figure is also worth tracking. Daily leaderboards capture momentum, but monthly totals reveal whether money is actually accumulating or simply cycling through.
Finally, global USDT supply is the backdrop for everything. If it stays relatively flat near approximately $184 billion, TRON’s gains increasingly come at the expense of other chains rather than from new dollars entering the system.
