FaZe Clan considers roster changes but may keep broky on CS2 lineup
The organization continues shuffling its Counter-Strike 2 squad after a turbulent stretch of coaching departures and inconsistent results
FaZe Clan is once again tinkering with its Counter-Strike 2 roster, but one name appears to be safe from the chopping block: Helvijs “broky” Saukants.
According to HLTV contributor Striker, FaZe is actively pursuing lineup adjustments while broky’s position on the team remains secure.
A year of musical chairs
The Latvian AWPer was benched in May 2025, temporarily replaced by s1mple. Broky returned to the active lineup in July 2025, suggesting the s1mple experiment didn’t deliver the results FaZe had hoped for.
Head coach NEO stepped down in March 2026, adding yet another layer of disruption.
Rumors surfaced in April 2026 suggesting that both broky and jcobbb could be on their way out, with woxic reportedly being considered as a potential signing. Those rumors now appear to have been at least partially overblown, given the latest reporting that broky is likely staying put.
FaZe’s broader identity crisis
Discussions on platforms like Reddit have reflected growing frustration from FaZe’s fanbase, with many calling for a more coherent long-term strategy rather than reactive shuffles every few months.
The coaching vacancy left by NEO’s departure in March compounds these concerns. If FaZe does move forward with changes beyond the coaching staff while retaining broky, the woxic rumors are interesting because he brings a different stylistic profile that could theoretically coexist with broky or signal a complete tactical overhaul.
