Missing figures stay unavailable. Forward P/E requires a dated source. Annual revenue, revenue growth, net income and margin come from each company's own 10-K, in US dollars, and each row shows that fiscal year. Revenue growth compares the fiscal year with the prior year stated in the same 10-K. Net income is the full year amount attributable to the company, or available to common stockholders where the filing states only that, or consolidated net income. Each row names its basis. Trailing P/E reads "Not meaningful" when the dated trailing diluted EPS is a loss or zero. An operating margin appears only when the filing states both the operating income and the revenue for the same year.
Sources: SEC filings, Gloria daily closes and CoinGecko. Oldest record refresh: Oct 29, 2026, 1:46 PM EDT. Refresh is not a price or filing date. Each row shows its price date and its annual fiscal period. Peers use industry code and company size, or editorial selection. Market cap multiplies that row price by the company share total the latest SEC filing states for every share class together. Trailing P/E divides it by trailing diluted earnings from SEC filings. Rolled earnings per share are approximate because share counts can change between periods. Both appear only when the SEC data carries its date, so they are estimates at one price date, not synchronized filing valuations. Not investment advice.

Quoted token and share units can have different rights, multipliers and dividend treatment. This is not an executable premium or arbitrage signal.
Microsoft asked the debt markets for money. The debt markets responded with something closer to a standing ovation.
The company’s jumbo debt offering pulled in more than €115 billion in investor demand. That is a lot of people wanting to lend to a company that is not, by any reasonable measure, short on cash.
The timing matters. Big Tech is spending at a historic pace to build out AI infrastructure. This deal shows how eager investors are to help pay for it.
The details of the deal
Microsoft is targeting at least $25 billion in this sale. It marks the company’s first investment-grade bond offering in the US since 2017.
The offering is split into as many as 10 tranches. A tranche is simply a slice of the deal with its own maturity date and interest terms, letting investors pick how long they want their money tied up.
Maturities range from 2 years all the way out to 40 years. That includes a potential note that would not mature until 2066.
Wells Fargo, JPMorgan Chase, and UBS are running the issuance. Microsoft says proceeds will go toward general corporate purposes, with capital expenditures called out specifically.
Why Microsoft is borrowing at all
Microsoft carries a AAA credit rating, the highest grade available. Only one other US public company holds that distinction: Johnson & Johnson.

And Microsoft’s reserves are being put to work. In the third quarter of fiscal 2026, the company reported $45.2 billion in data center and equipment capex, including leases.
For the full 2026 fiscal year, total capex is set to exceed $115 billion.
Most of that spending is tied to AI. Training and running large AI models requires enormous data centers, specialized chips, and a great deal of electricity.
A familiar pattern in Big Tech
Microsoft is not the first giant to make this move. Alphabet ran a $25 billion bond sale in August 2026 that attracted around $115 billion in orders.
The parallels are hard to miss. Similar target size, similarly enormous order books, and the same underlying driver: the cost of building AI capacity.
What this means for markets and the AI buildout
Strong reception for both Alphabet and Microsoft could encourage other tech firms to fund their own AI ambitions through debt.
There are risks to keep in view. Capex north of $115 billion a year assumes AI demand keeps growing fast enough to justify the investment.
A AAA rating cushions that risk for Microsoft, but it does not erase it. Less pristine borrowers following Microsoft’s lead would face steeper costs and less margin for error.
How the final pricing lands across each tranche will offer the next clue. Tight spreads would confirm that lenders see Microsoft’s AI spending as a safe bet rather than a speculative one.
