Missing figures stay unavailable. Forward P/E requires a dated source. Annual revenue, revenue growth, net income and margin come from each company's own 10-K, in US dollars, and each row shows that fiscal year. Revenue growth compares the fiscal year with the prior year stated in the same 10-K. Net income is the full year amount attributable to the company, or available to common stockholders where the filing states only that, or consolidated net income. Each row names its basis. Trailing P/E reads "Not meaningful" when the dated trailing diluted EPS is a loss or zero. An operating margin appears only when the filing states both the operating income and the revenue for the same year.
Sources: SEC filings, Gloria daily closes and CoinGecko. Oldest record refresh: Oct 28, 2026, 5:41 PM EDT. Refresh is not a price or filing date. Each row shows its price date and its annual fiscal period. Peers use industry code and company size, or editorial selection. Market cap multiplies that row price by the company share total the latest SEC filing states for every share class together. Trailing P/E divides it by trailing diluted earnings from SEC filings. Rolled earnings per share are approximate because share counts can change between periods. Both appear only when the SEC data carries its date, so they are estimates at one price date, not synchronized filing valuations. Not investment advice.

Wall Street has a new favorite metric, and it isn’t how many GPUs you can buy. It’s whether you can pay for them without draining the bank account.
In the earnings reports of late October, investors rewarded Microsoft and Oracle for funding their AI buildouts with cash. They punished Alphabet for spending heavily while Google Search growth slowed.
Three companies, three very different report cards
Start with Microsoft. The company reported $18.6 billion in free cash flow for its fiscal first quarter of 2027.
That figure beat expectations by nearly $10 billion. It came even as Microsoft poured $45.2 billion into infrastructure spending during the quarter.
Microsoft’s Azure cloud business grew 48% year over year. Shares climbed more than 3% in after-hours trading.
Oracle earned an even louder round of applause. The stock finished the day nearly 11% higher after the company laid out plans to put a ceiling on external financing.
Oracle also said it expects to return to positive cash flow in the second half of fiscal 2028.
Then there was Alphabet. Its third-quarter 2026 revenue reached $127.6 billion, yet the company still missed expectations on the top line.

Google Cloud was a genuine bright spot. Cloud revenue more than doubled, rising past 100% growth to reach $30.71 billion.
The problem was the bill. Alphabet posted capital expenditures of $51.4 billion, leaving it with negative free cash flow of roughly $9.1 billion.
Shares plunged nearly 10% after hours.
Why cash flow is suddenly the scoreboard
S&P’s Melissa Otto said Google’s core business fell short, while Microsoft demonstrated discipline in how it managed its spending.
Both Microsoft and Alphabet are spending enormous sums on AI infrastructure. Their quarterly capex figures of $45.2 billion and $51.4 billion are not wildly far apart.
The difference is what happened after those checks were written. Microsoft still generated a large cash surplus. Alphabet ended up in the red on free cash flow.
Oracle’s reaction is the most telling of the three. The company didn’t report a cash windfall. It simply promised to limit how much outside money it would borrow and gave a date for turning cash-positive.
That was enough to send the stock up nearly 11%.
What this means for Big Tech and its investors
For Alphabet, the pressure point is the combination of two things at once. Heavy spending alone might have been tolerated. Paired with slower Search growth and a revenue miss, it read as a company paying more for growth that its core business was not fully delivering.
That framing is a little harsh on a quarter where cloud revenue more than doubled. But markets tend to grade on the weakest subject, not the strongest, especially when the tuition is $51.4 billion a quarter.
What to watch next: whether Alphabet responds with any guidance on capex pacing or cash flow targets, whether Microsoft can sustain Azure growth near 48% while keeping free cash flow strong, and whether Oracle stays on track toward positive cash flow in the second half of fiscal 2028.
