Robinhood rolls out Bitcoin and crypto trading to UK customers
Customers will be able to trade more than 50 crypto assets through the Robinhood app, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, XRP and Hyperliquid.
Robinhood is expanding its UK investment platform into direct crypto trading, allowing customers to buy and sell more than 50 digital assets from the same app used for stocks, shares ISAs, options and futures, the company said Monday.
The service is being introduced through Bitstamp UK and will begin rolling out to eligible customers this week.
The launch is accompanied by a new AI-powered research feature called Robinhood Cortex Digests for Crypto. The tool uses generative AI to analyze breaking news, market data, technical indicators and Robinhood’s proprietary insights before presenting the main factors influencing an asset’s price.
Robinhood is also connecting the UK launch to its onchain strategy. Developers can build on Robinhood Chain, an Arbitrum-based layer 2 designed for financial services and tokenized real-world assets.
