ARK Invest takes ARK Venture Fund onto Ethereum through Securitize
Cathie Wood's flagship venture fund gets a tokenized share class on Ethereum, opening the door for everyday investors to own stakes in OpenAI, Anthropic, and Stripe
ARK Invest, the investment manager founded by Cathie Wood, has tapped Securitize to tokenize its ARK Venture Fund (ARKVX), giving eligible investors blockchain-based access to its private and public holdings.
Through the move, the companies deepen their existing relationship and continue to share the view that tokenization can modernize the access to finance and investment products.
ARKVX is a closed-end interval fund focused on long-term capital growth through investments in private and public companies associated with disruptive innovation. Its portfolio includes OpenAI, Anthropic, Stripe and Databricks, among other companies, with holdings subject to change.
At launch, the tokenized version of the fund will be available on Ethereum, while Securitize will provide the infrastructure for onchain issuance and the investor experience.

Wood said tokenizing ARKVX puts ARK’s view on the potential transformation of capital markets into practice and represents an extension of its goal of broadening access to technology-driven innovation.
Securitize CEO Carlos Domingo said the launch shows how established investment products can be moved onto modern, blockchain-based capital markets infrastructure.
ARK Invest’s collaboration with Securitize follows its strategic investment in the company announced in October 2025. At the time, the companies committed to supporting wider institutional adoption of tokenized securities, increasing access to regulated investment products and developing infrastructure for tokenized capital markets.
