Canton Strategic Holdings has agreed with TSV LLC to offer tokenized versions of its common shares on the Canton Network, with trading expected to start as early as November 2, the company said Thursday.
The planned launch follows TSV’s notification to the SEC under the September 17 Innovation Exemption framework. Canton Strategic Holdings said the move would make it the first publicly traded US company to offer tokenized shares under the new rules.
“Tokenization creates more efficient access to equity markets for investors and greater transparency for issuers, and the SEC’s Innovation Exemption has set up the framework to bring tokenized US equities onshore,” Mark Wendland, Chairman and CEO of Canton Strategic Holdings, said in a statement.
Fairmint, through its SEC-registered onchain transfer agent subsidiary, will issue the tokens as issuer-sponsored stock, the team added.
The tokenized shares are designed to provide the same rights and privileges as Canton Strategic Holdings shares traded on Nasdaq.
TSV plans to list them through its automated market maker using the Tradecraft protocol, enabling 24/7 trading and atomic settlement on the Canton Network. TSV CEO Ali Abrar said the company wanted its first listing to establish a standard for the venue.

Fairmint TA LLC will maintain official onchain ownership records and apply compliance controls to each transfer, while access to the venue will be verified for institutional and retail investors.
Canton Strategic Holdings, listed on Nasdaq under CNTN, operates a Super Validator to help secure the Canton Network and process transactions, while its locking-as-a-service offering locks Canton Coin (CC) for Super Validators and featured applications that need to maintain token balances.
The company also invests in Canton ecosystem assets and contributes to governance, including through its membership on the Canton Foundation board.
