Underdog partners with zerohash to enable crypto deposits for prediction markets
The sports gaming and prediction market operator expects to let eligible users fund accounts with digital assets and stablecoins later this year
Underdog wants your stablecoins. The US sports gaming and prediction market operator has partnered with crypto infrastructure provider zerohash to add digital asset and stablecoin deposits to its app.
The feature is expected to launch later this year. Once live, eligible users should be able to fund their accounts with supported crypto at any hour, with transfers designed to land in near real time.
What Underdog and zerohash are building
The partnership was revealed on October 22, 2026, at the NEXTPredict NYC Summit. Under the arrangement, zerohash will handle the plumbing that lets crypto move into Underdog accounts directly inside the app.
Not everyone will get access. The option is limited to eligible users and supported digital assets, and the rollout is still slated for later in 2026 rather than available today.
zerohash brings meaningful scale to the deal. The firm supports over 100 assets across 200 jurisdictions and has processed more than $65 billion in settled financial volume since its inception.
This is also not zerohash’s first prediction market rodeo. Edge Markets launched a similar real-time stablecoin funding capability with zerohash on September 3, 2026.
Underdog’s fast climb in prediction markets
Underdog has been moving quickly. The company entered prediction markets in September 2025 with regulated sports event contracts.

In March 2026, it acquired the Aristotle Exchange. Then on July 18, 2026, it launched its own platform, the Underdog Exchange (UDX), which made the company federally licensed in multiple capacities.
Underdog ranked third among operators in US regulated prediction market notional volume as of mid-2026.
Financially, the company reported $466 million in net revenue for the fiscal year ending June 2026. Those numbers likely caught the eye of IG Group, which announced a reported $1.3 billion acquisition of Underdog in late July 2026.
That deal is still pending completion. So the crypto deposit feature is arriving while the company is mid-handoff.
What this means for prediction markets and crypto rails
With Edge Markets already running a similar setup through zerohash, crypto funding is starting to look less like a novelty and more like a feature operators feel pressure to offer.
For zerohash, the deal reinforces its position as backend infrastructure for regulated platforms. Its model is to stay invisible to the end user while handling custody, conversion, and compliance under the hood.
The stablecoin piece deserves attention on its own. Stablecoins are dollar-pegged tokens, so users get blockchain speed without betting on crypto price swings alongside their actual bets.
There are open questions worth tracking. The list of supported assets has not been specified, and neither has the precise eligibility criteria that will determine which users get access.
