Grayscale has requested the withdrawal of registration statements for its proposed Polkadot, Hedera and Cardano ETFs. In separate filings dated Aug. 7, the firm said it had abandoned plans to proceed with the distribution of shares.
The asset manager filed Form S-1 registration statements with the SEC in August 2025 for its proposed Cardano and Polkadot Trust ETFs. The funds would have given investors exposure to ADA and DOT through shares representing interests in trusts holding the respective tokens.
The Cardano ETF was proposed to list on NYSE Arca under the ticker GADA, while the Polkadot ETF was proposed to list on Nasdaq under DOT.
Grayscale filed its S-1 registration statement for the proposed Hedera Trust ETF last September; the fund was proposed to list on Nasdaq under HBAR, with shares representing interests in a trust holding HBAR.
