About RTX Corporation

RTX Corporation is a large American aerospace and defense company headquartered in Arlington, Virginia. It was formed in 2020 through the merger of Raytheon Company and the aerospace businesses of United Technologies Corporation, with corporate roots tracing to a Delaware incorporation in 1934. The company was known as Raytheon Technologies Corporation until it was renamed RTX Corporation in July 2023. RTX is publicly traded on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol RTX. Its business is organized into three segments: Collins Aerospace, which produces avionics and aircraft systems; Pratt & Whitney, which makes commercial and military aircraft engines; and Raytheon, which develops guided missiles, air and missile defense systems, radars, and cybersecurity solutions. Most of its revenue comes from government customers, particularly the United States government. RTX is one of the largest aerospace and defense manufacturers and military contractors in the world by revenue and market capitalization.
