Stargate to end v2 support for Gravity, Camp, GOAT and Metis on October 23, 2026

Liquidity providers on four low-activity chains have a deadline to withdraw or bridge funds before LayerZero shuts off default infrastructure

Stargate Finance is pulling the plug on four blockchains. Support for Gravity, Camp, GOAT and Metis through Stargate v2 will end on October 23, 2026.

If you have liquidity parked in Stargate pools on any of those networks, the calendar is now your most important DeFi tool. Users are being urged to withdraw or bridge their assets before the cutoff to avoid losing access to their funds.

What is changing and when

The affected chains are Gravity Alpha Mainnet, Camp, GOAT Network and Metis Andromeda. All four are being cut because of low activity.

The move tracks a broader LayerZero Labs initiative. The company is winding down the off-chain infrastructure services it runs on chains that show minimal usage.

There are actually two deadlines here, and they hit different groups. The first, October 23, 2026, applies to Stargate v2 users and liquidity providers on the four chains.

The second lands a week later. LayerZero’s default DVN and Executor services for those same chains will stop on October 30, 2026.

A cross-chain message needs someone to confirm it is legitimate and someone to actually deliver it on the other side. DVNs and Executors are the off-chain services LayerZero has been running to handle those jobs by default. When LayerZero stops supplying its default versions, apps on these chains have to arrange their own.

Developers building on the impacted networks have until October 30 to move to new DVN and Executor configurations, where those are available.

Anyone holding canonical assets through the established, official bridges is unaffected. The official bridges between Ethereum and Metis remain operational, so users who came in that way can sit tight.

Part of a bigger cleanup

This is not the first round of cuts. Stargate and LayerZero have already deprecated support for other networks earlier in 2026, with Aurora, Gnosis and Taiko among the chains named in prior wind-downs.

And the biggest cut is still ahead. All Stargate v1 pools are scheduled to shut down across every chain on December 15, 2026.

What this means for users, LPs and builders

For liquidity providers, the practical message is simple: act early. Waiting until the final days before October 23 means competing with every other LP heading for the exit at the same time.

Metis users have a cushion that the others may not, since the official Ethereum-Metis bridges keep running. For Gravity, Camp and GOAT, the practical impact depends on what alternative routes remain available to their users once Stargate exits.

Developers face the trickiest homework. Any application on these chains that leans on LayerZero’s default DVN and Executor setup needs a new configuration by October 30. If no replacement exists for a given chain, cross-chain features built on that stack could simply stop working.

For anyone touching LayerZero-based protocols, the dates worth circling are clear. October 23 for Stargate v2 on Gravity, Camp, GOAT and Metis. October 30 for default DVN and Executor services on those chains. December 15 for the shutdown of every Stargate v1 pool.
