TRON integrates with Base network to enable cross-chain TRX access
New collaboration broadens TRON’s token reach by connecting with Coinbase’s layer-2, offering enhanced access for digital asset users.
TRON DAO has integrated with Base, the Ethereum Layer 2 network incubated by Coinbase, enabling users to bridge TRX to Base via LayerZero.
The integration allows TRX to be accessed and traded on Base-native decentralized exchanges like Aerodrome, significantly expanding cross-chain accessibility.
“This integration is a meaningful step toward making blockchain networks operate more seamlessly together,” said TRON founder Justin Sun. “It strengthens interoperability and broadens access across ecosystems.”
By bridging TRON’s user base and liquidity with Base’s low-cost, high-speed Layer 2 environment, the collaboration supports smoother cross-chain activity and reduces friction between Web2 and Web3 financial systems.
The integration reflects a shared vision for building interoperable blockchain infrastructure that scales with real-world usage and developer demand.
